Jerry Tucker
Jerry Tucker’s career as a development executive spans over four decades. He has served as the Planned Giving Director or Development Director with numerous non-profits including Northwest Medical Teams International, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, Columbia Christian College, Friends of the Children and Eternal Impact Ministries.
Jerry has authored fundraising articles for the Chronicle of Philanthropy and has taught a variety of development courses on several college campuses. As a development consultant, his client list is extensive, having worked with a variety of Christian and secular non-profit organizations in six states. Jerry’s greatest passion and expertise is helping non-profits expand into the Planned Giving arena where “legacy gifts” are made through donors’ estates, wills, annuities, trusts and other financial assets.
Jerry is active as a licensed stock broker and financial advisor for a number of private clients. He also is an off-road racing enthusiast and serves as a professional promoter, pairing off-road racers and corporations.
Lanny Tucker
Lanny Tucker has served as a development executive since 2003. He enjoys working with non-profit staff, governing boards and major donors. He views fundraising as a ministry that nurtures godly stewardship and sacrificial giving in order to fulfill an organization’s life-changing mission.
Lanny has served with four Christian non-profit organizations as a development executive. He currently is the Dallas-Fort Worth Development Officer for Eastern European Mission whose mission is to provide Bibles to the 22 countries that formerly were behind the Iron Curtain of the Soviet Union.
Previously, Lanny has enjoyed serving as Executive Director for Portland Urban Ministry Project (Portland, OR), Director of Communications for Missions Resource Network (Fort Worth, TX), and Director of Advancement for Cascade College (Portland, OR). He has overseen annual and capital campaign giving, planned giving, grant writing, alumni and church relations, annual fund, direct mail and social media and web communications.
Lanny has also worked as a minister with two Portland, Oregon churches: Westside Church of Christ and PUMP Church of Christ. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and disc golf and loves coaching his daughters’ sports teams.
